Next, the floor was framed onto 12" concrete posts set 4' deep (or until we hit bedrock)
Insulation was stuffed between the joists and the plywood went down
Building and lifting the walls was a family affair...me, my step daughter and step son.
A look with the walls up...just waiting for the rafters...prebuilt as per local building code.
The rafters are in and the joint to the rest of the house was built by hand.
A snow storm hit half way through shingle installation.
But finally, a sense of accomplishment! Now for the inside...
